The images below belong to an original Reed & Barton Silver Plated Tea Serving Set (dated 1898) once used more that 111 years ago in the Oil City, Pa, Monarch Park Restaurant.  The Tea Set currently belongs to Sally Shipwash, formally of Oil City, and was loaned to this website.  We are very grateful for the trust Sally has shown by lending this priceless treasure.

The entire Reed & Barton Silver Plated Tea Serving Set consisting of a 10 oz. Creamer with Lid, a 14 oz. Sugar Bowl with Lid, an 10 oz. Open Creamer, a 2 portion Tea Pot, and a 12 in. Serving Tray with an 11 in. Lid.

Each piece of the Tea Set is stamped with a similar makers mark.

The Sugar Bowl with Lid.  The mark reads, "Med. & plated, Reed & Barton, Taunton, Mass, No. 1575, 14 oz., Pat Feb. 15, 1898, Monarch Park"

The Tea Pot for dispensing hot water. The mark reads, "Med. & plated, Reed & Barton, Taunton, Mass, No. 875, 2 portion, Pat Feb. 15, 1898, Monarch Park"

The Open Creamer.  The mark reads, "Med. & plated, Reed & Barton, Taunton, Mass, No. 1575, 10 oz., Pat Feb. 15, 1898, Monarch Park"

The Covered Creamer.  The mark reads, "Med. & plated, Reed & Barton, Taunton, Mass, No. 1575, 10 oz., Pat Feb. 15, 1898, Monarch Park"
